Subject: Sub box

Hi , I have hit a dead end trying to work out a port size for a
American bass 8 vfl sub woofer
The box is for a fj cruiser to sit out of the way , it's an unusual shape
but comes in at 23 liters or .812 cu ft.
I'd like to port it but can't seem to work out the port size , the height is
11" the fb 42 Hz Xmax 13 Qes .549
Some of the calculations have come out at a port size of 1.2" which
is to narrow for the height or 4" inches which gives a port length of
70", which is to long , so now I'm basically confused
I can just use it as a seal box which comes in at .7 cu ft , this would
be much simpler but I'm enjoying the challenge as theire is no
square cut join any where on this box.
So I'm at the point where I have to make a decision and I don't want
to base it on my bad math , any help will be appreciated
