	Introduction I recently purchased a pair of 50 year old Pioneer CS-44 speakers, basically the first speakers I remember listening to (as part of my Dad's old stereo system).  Of course I want to make a few improvements to them to make them look and sound better, while keeping them as original-looking as possible. This page will cover measurements of the original speakers as well as any redesign work that I choose to do, and measured and subjective results.
